Arbeiten wie Geoffrey Hendricks Wolkenbilder, Al Hansons Venus-Bilder und Ben Pattersons Reise-Arbeiten erinnern in ihrer Sehnsucht nach Mythos, Transzendenz und Freiheit an die Werke von Romantikern wie Johan Christian Clausen Dahl, Philipp Otto Runge, Caspar David Friedrich und Ludwig Tieck.
