Synopsis
The collection of Annick and Anton Herbert, domiciled in the Belgian city of Gent, focuses on Minimal and Conceptual Art, and Arte Povera. Under the title of "Inventory", it showed the works of, among others, Carl Andre, Gerhard Richter, Mario Merz, as well as Martin Kippenberger and Mike Kelley in the Kunsthaus Graz (June - September 2006). In collaboration with the Austrian artist Heimo Zobernig and the architect Niels Jonkhans a radical presentation of the works came about, opening up fresh perspectives on art movements between 1968-1989. This publication documents the exhibition and its unique design, including installation views, drafts and blueprints, as well as text by art theorist Denys Zacharopolous.
