Synopsis
Vision is more than just the perception of optical signals from the real world or the mental imagination of something visible: Vision comprehends the inner interpretative transformation of something ""seen"" into a present-related appearance or a future-related conception. How stable is vision as a ""bridge to the future"" in our modern world? Authors from various disciplines of the University of Siegen describe visions from the past (literature and philosophy), the present (especially architecture and economics) and express their own visions for the future (health, education, training, politics and society).
