The main purpose of the study was to examine the impact of organizational climate on the performance of university teachers in Pakistan. The type of the study was survey-descriptive. There are 56 public universities in Pakistan; where as in 20 universities department of education is functioning. 10 universities were randomly selected for sample, representing all the areas of the country. Two groups of sample such as 100 administrators including 10 vice chancellors, 10 registrar, 10 controllers of examination, 10 treasurers, 10 deans and 5 chairmen from ten faculties of sampled universities and 100 teachers, 10 from each university were selected randomly. The objectives of the study were: to explore the dynamics of acceptable climate of universities; to identify the weaknesses of the organizational climates of public universities as perceived by their administrators and teachers; to find out the strengths of the organizational climates of Public universities as perceived by their administrators and teachers; to examine the impact of organizational climate on the performance of the teachers.
