About the Author

Shankar Sehgal is Asst. Professor in Mechanical Engineering, UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He is University Gold Medalist of 2003 batch in B.Tech. (Mech. Engg.) from PTU, Punjab, India. He completed his M.Tech. from IIT Delhi, India in 2005. His research areas are smart materials, FE model updating and mechanical engineering.
