Synopsis

Modern day management can find the solutions for these quality control problems by using statistical version of lot inspection, known as Acceptance sampling. Since in acceptance sampling, a lot is sentenced as conforming or non-conforming, quite similar to the customer perception of quality product, based on the conformance criteria. In this book, the acceptance sampling is considered as a process, and sampling plan as a product. Like any other process this acceptance sampling is also having variation from the target objectives. By considering this reduction of variation as a fundamental concept in the present research sampling plans were modeled and analysed in the previous chapters. This book presents the results and conclusion drawn from the modeling and analysis based various quality assurance methods, new initiatives, leanings from case analysis of the research concepts.
