Environmental Governance is considered as one of the priority actions for achieving environmental sustainability. Dr. Ram B. Khadka is a leading expert in Environmental Management and has also served as coordinator of Asian Regional Environmental Assessment Program at IUCN. In the recognition for the contribution made in Environmental Assessment International Association of Impact Assessment (IAIA) presented him an individual award in June 2000.
