There are currently a plethora of unsigned musical acts looking to stage their major breakthrough. This book reviews the principles of human computer interaction, text based retrieval, and information based retrieval systems for music in order to develop a prototype web based system. This system allows muscial acts to compare themselves to current major artists before asking end users to rate the unisgned acts. This information is then presented in the form of a league table.
