Dr. Vowels primary area of interest are High School redesign and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and those questioning their identity. She is quick to let one know she is an educator not an activist. Dr. Vowels is devoted to her growing family. She loves her daughter Meghan and is awaiting another daughter from an adoption in Ethiopia.
