In the world of environment health and medicine, lead exposure remains one of the most important problems. Despite decades of intensive research, lead toxicity remains one of the most studied subjects of all within the field of environmental health and medicine. This reflects the large gaps that continue to exist in our understanding of the full implications of lead exposure on health. During the 20th century there was an increased risk from environmental byproducts, lead being one of them that may be harmful to reproductive functions in human beings and animals. Therefore as the 21st century has commenced it is appropriate to evaluate directions for future in the field of reproductive toxicity. This experimental interpretation identifies several approaches and suggestions that would help research to continue in meaningful direction. Lead compounds are known to induce toxicity in mammalian systems. However female reproductive toxicity is comparatively less expedited. In the present work, toxic effects of lead were observed on fertility of swiss mice. Along with this, the therapeutic effects of Vitamin C, E and their combination on lead induced toxicity has also investigated.
