Information technology (IT) over the years has become important not only for business but also for governance, research activities, and personal use. The convergence with communications technologies to form what is now known as Information and communication Technology (ICT) has not only altered the way people live, work and play but has also created a new infrastructure for business, scientific advancement and social interaction. This revolution has fuelled the proliferation of new media and the globalization of business and finance. About the Author
OLATUNJI APAMPA is a graduate of the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelors degree (honours) in Agricultural Engineering, and Master degree in Information Science from the same institution. His areas of research interest include knowledge management and application of data mining techniques.
