Synopsis

The main objective of the dissertation was to analyze theoretically and confirm experimentally possibility of employment of a low frequency induction heating for continuous welded rails (CWR) under track laying. Therefore, the thesis of the dissertation has been formulated as below: The low frequency induction heating (50Hz-450Hz) can be successfully used for continuous welded rails under track laying provided it is properly selected and controlled.
