Christianity is in a very serious crisis. Most of the doctrines being preached in today's pulpits are more occultic than cultic. As the world continues to be bombarded with the unscriptural American prosperity gospel, the major causality of this unscrupulous gospel are the sick, desperate and poor born again Christians of the world who have been totally disarmed to fight the disempowerment and exploitation of this gospel. Kizito Michael George lectures Philosophy, Gender and Human Rights in Makerere University Department of Philosophy. He is the Programmes Manager of Makerere Centre for Applied Ethics. He holds a BA and an Mphil. He is currently writing his PhD on: Pro-Poor Empowerment and the Ethics of Poverty Policy Discourse.
