Synopsis

The modifications in the sample properties after Swift Heavy Ion (SHI) irradiation are also reported.Finally, the applications of quantum dots as electronic, photonic and optic switch are also recorded.

About the Author

Dr.S S Nath passed B.Sc Honors in Electronics (1st class 1st) MSc in Electronics(1st class 1st),PG Diploma in Instrumentation(1st class 1st). He has been awarded PhD in 2004 for his works on nanotechnology. Currently he is Reader in the Dept. of Physics & Central Instrumentation Center,Assam University, Silchar, Assam, India.
