Gothic as a dark genre has a natural affinity with cinema. Some of the earliest movies were based on Gothic fiction already. About the Author

Born in 1978, Till Grahl graduated with this thesis as a Master of Arts from the Department of British and American Studies at Dresden University, where he is now a doctorand and lecturer. Besides his teaching assignment the author works as a freelance film critic for a variety of media, and is a board member of the Film Association of Saxony.
