Synopsis
In a fishing village in Denmark, a coffin drives ashore with a dead sailor in the summer of 1912. Malte, a twelve-year-old holiday child, would have almost stumbled over it when he let his kite rise on the beach. In the place, no one seems to know the dead, and the old Aviaja takes her secret to the grave. But the fates of the little boy and the dead sailor seem from now on connected in a strange and dangerous way: a voice whispers in Malte's ear, which tells of distant sea adventures, the legendary Amber King and of a forbidden love.
