About the Author
Guido Argentini est né et a grandi à Florence en Italie. Il a passé trois ans à l'Université de médecine avant de décider à 23 ans, de suivre sa passion et d'entreprendre une carrière de photographe. Il vit actuellement entre l'Italie et les Etats-Unis, passant la majorité de son temps à Los Angeles. En 2003, le premier livre de Guido Argentini, Silvereye, a présenté une série exquise de nus en studio et en extérieur. Ce travail se conçoit comme une réflexion de la grande passion personnelle de l'artiste pour la sculpture et la danse. Son deuxième livre, Private Rooms, éditées en 2005, offre un type entièrement différent de voyage personnel, un où l'érotisme et la beauté sont clairement inséparable. Ce deuxième livre est le résultat de dix ans de photographies, toutes prises dans l'intimité des intérieurs personnels qui deviennent ainsi un théâtre où l'artiste met en scène son imagination voyeuriste.
