Synopsis
This volume is devoted to the question of the extent to which the personality of pedagogical professionals in kindergarten can be a resource for their workload and well-being, which has been little explored in the elementary educational context. Based on data from a quantitative study, links between the Big Five, self-efficacy expectations, control beliefs, and aspects of workload as well as well-being are taken into account in more detail. Furthermore, ways to improve workload and well-being are shown and discussed in the occupational group of elementary pedagogical professionals.
