A new adventure with Ralf, the Frog, and the beach crab Klara! After the two in "How does this actually work with ebb and flow?" have explored the secrets of the tides, this time they explore a Hallig. Klara as a coastal inhabitant, Ralf can of course already explain a lot about the strange country hills in the water, but what makes life on a Hallig so special, the sheep ginger tells. With a so-called Lore, Ralf and Klara drive over a narrow dam across the Wadden Sea to one of the Halligen. There they get to know the sheep ginger, which spends the summer months there. Ralf has already heard of Klara how the Halligen were created, why the Halligen are not called islands and what "Landunter" means. But the sheep ginger can tell completely other amazing things about the halliglife. So it knows that the Hallig children are taught in small schools that defy the floods in the middle of the North Sea. And it can answer the question of how the post actually gets to the Halligen, because the postman can hardly ride through the watt by bike, right? It becomes really exciting for Ralf when a powerful storm comes up, which he wants to experience outside. But then the tide rises higher and it threatens "land under"
