Each firm is depicted with a characteristic tool; the result is an overview of the tools used by successive generations of professional architects as they change over time, a phenomenon that has never been fully documented until now. Die Autorin Elke Krasny lebt als Kulturtheoretikerin, Ausstellungsmacherin und Autorin in Wien, zahlreiche Ausstellungen und Publikationen zu Architektur, Kulturgeschichte und Gegenwartskunst.
Elke Krasny works in Vienna as a cultural theorist, curator, and author. She has organized numerous exhibitions and authored many publications on architecture, cultural history, and contemporary art.
