Elements of Hypermedia Design is a book about the conceptual and technical aspects of hypermedia publishing. Its goal is to give guidelines on how to design usable hypermedia documents and structured content. Both aspects of the term "hypermedia" are thoroughly covered, namely hypertext (non-sequential text) and multimedia (rich graphical and interactive content).
