Synopsis
The teaching and workbook for the Saarland vocational schools of specialist level II is the continuation and deepening of the teaching and workbook "Experience Democracy" of specialist level I. This work is also a modern, action and competence-promoting teaching for the subject of economics and social studies.
For subject level II (BFS II), the content focus is on the topics of sustainability, the media world, understanding of democracy in Germany and Europe as a common living space. The focus is on promoting action and competence. The goals are to make young people aware of social and political issues and are capable of criticism. Being able to represent and discuss opinions are values that form the basis for a sound general knowledge with the acquisition of middle maturity.
The didactic concept of action and competence orientation should be based on lessons.
"Experience democracy" was written according to the economic and social science curriculum of 2020 and structured so that the four areas of competence (learning areas) for subject level II of the BFS are shown.
