1929 entdeckte der Schweizer Bildhauer, Erfinder und Forscher Paul¿Schatz (1898-1971) die geometrische Form des Oloids.¿Schatz' Lebenswerk war geprägt von diesem fundamental neuen, aus der Bewegung entstandenen Körper, für den er immer neue und wegweisende Anwendungen fand. Diese bildstarke und allgemeinverständliche Monografie zeigt das zeitlos schöne Oloid als Inspirationsquelle und funktionales Element, heute mehr denn je zuvor.
Das gilt für die bildenden Künsten und im Design, in Technik und Forschung, in der Architektur, der Philosophie oder der Musik.
