Synopsis
Stephan grows up on a large farm with attached inn. His mother died at his birth. The grandmother is a mistress in the house, a strict woman with rigid parenting methods. When working in the yard, Stephan makes an initially disturbing acquaintance with the vinegar mother. After a fright second, she conveys the essence of the feminine and determines his relationship to the many women he encounters in his further life. In the finale, all these women including Queen Elizabeth meet together. What is initially thought of by the grandmother as a tribunal about a womanizer against will, becomes a wink feast of female dignity and grandezza under the influence of the vinegar mother.
