About the Author

Giuseppe Milano, MD, is Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the Catholic University, Rome, and Director of the Shoulder Surgery Service, A. Gemelli University Hospital, Rome, Italy. At the Catholic University, his responsibilities include teaching Orthopaedics and Traumatology in the School of Medicine and in the Residency Program of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He is also Director of the School of Orthopaedic Techniques. Dr. Milano is Vice-President of the European Shoulder Associates (ESA) – ESSKA Section and Vice-President of Società Italiana del Ginocchio Artroscopia Sport Cartilagine Tecnologie Ortopediche (SIGASCOT). He is Editor in Chief of Joints, and Associate Editor of Arthroscopy. He has authored 97 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 35 book chapters and has edited two previous books.
