Wearable Computing is no more a fantasy device. It is been widely discussed topic in all contexts of sectors such as Retail, Banking, Government, Healthcare etc. While on one end wearable computing is evolving with its early stages of users, on the other end apparel shopping sector holds high potential market of consumers. This book aims to examine the in-store purchasing pattern and behavioural pattern of consumer buying decision. Based on a sample set of survey respondents, this study examines the psychological and behavioural patterns of consumers in context of apparel in-store shopping and purchasing. Added to the list, this research work discusses the theoretical models of strategic product positioning and theoretical concepts of wearable computing in specific to Google Glass. Coupled with theoretical concepts and observations from survey results, gap between consumer attitudes towards apparel shopping and wearable technology was critically evaluated. On the basis of findings and analysis, a business idea is planted to strategically position the wearable computing – Google Glass in apparel shopping sector, which would indeed enhance the consumer retail experience.
