Its association with the HIV/AIDS pandemic forms a lethal combination. The bacillu (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) has a very thick and complex cell wall which makes this pathogen could escape from the host’s immune defense and the anti-tuberculosis drugs. In this book, a general method for stereoselective C-C glycosylaiton was developed and this methodology could be applied to synthesize Tuberculosis antigens.

Jin WANG was born in YiWu City, ZheJiang Province, China, in 1985. He received his PH.D. in Microbiology from Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier,France,in 2015.Now he is a Special-term Professor at Yancheng Teachers University. His research interests are medicinal chemistry and supramolecular chemistry.
