This book is intended to serve as a useful reference material for persons being exposed to the sub-field of development ethics. It is hoped that it will provide useful information particularly to students undertaking undergraduate courses in multidisciplinary areas like development studies, economics, political sciences, sociology and international studies among others. It is a by-product of an undergraduate course that the author has worked on over the years. It attempts to introduce a conceptualization of development ethics and its associated challenges from a developing world perspective. This is crucial particularly in the context of the 21st Century where the developing world has been vocal in development issues as demonstrated through mainstreaming the development agenda in the Doha round of international trade negotiations popularly referred to as the Doha Development Round. The world has also seen increasing focus on the developing world as the new frontier of economic growth and economic development. These are fundamental in placing the developing world on the global map.It is hoped that the reader will find the material relevant and in an easy to understand language.
