This book presents the first order unstructured algorithms of Roe (1981), of Steger and Warming (1981), of Van Leer (1982), of Frink, Parikh and Pirzadeh (1991), of Liou and Steffen Jr. (1993) and of Radespiel and Kroll (1995), applied to the class of problems aforementioned. All the algorithms are implemented according to a upwind formulation. Moreover, a second order linear reconstruction procedure is performed with some algorithms that is extended to the others. Good results are obtained with the schemes. A finite volume formulation and unstructured spatial discretization are employed.
