The first chapter of this book is studied the theoretically and practically solar radiation intensity falling on the city of Basrah in Iraq and compatibility between them, as well as, in the second chapter, has been studied the intensity of solar radiation and the practical air temperature during the year to know the impact of solar radiation and temperature. Development of the basin solar distiller by adding a unit of magnetized water and study it’s performance in order to learn the reader the design method. In addition the effect of magnetism on the water evaporation is presented in the third chapter. The fourth chapter has been studied solar sausage drying and study the characteristics and chemical and sensory for sausage, the aim of this study to increase the rate of drying compared with the traditional method. Chapter fifth presents design of solar milk pasteurizer which is very important to use it in rural areas which far from cities. In the chapter sixth has been studied the design of solar dryer under vacuum for drying Fish and used several mathematical models and match them with practical results to get the best design.
