Nikolay Leonidovich Sokolov is candidate of science (Engineering), expert in optimal control. Author of 80 works and 15 patents for spacecraft control methods. He held the position of flight director of ten satellites. At present Nikolay Sokolov is Deputy Head of the Mission Control Centre of the Central Research Institute of Machine Building.
