This book is an outcome of detailed simulation study on an existing building in Rajasthan, India using eQuest simulation software and applying various energy conservation measures on roof, walls, etc. to assess the effect of these energy conservation techniques on the overall energy consumption in the building, both in terms of thermal as well as lighting effects. Approx. initial costs of various energy conservation measures is calculated and considering the reduction in energy consumption using the measures, estimated reduction in operational cost is calculated and thus, pay-back period analyzed. This book will help the readers have a real feel of eQuest application and should find it easy to use softwares for their energy simulation works. Key features of the book: # Visual Display: Actual screen shots for almost all parameters of the work have been incorporated in the book. # Cost-Benefit Analysis: The book briefly shows the estimation of pay-back period for various energy conservation techniques, which will facilitate the readers for cost benefit analysis for similar works.
