Kenya’s foreign policy has always been influenced by the different administrations in power. There has been interrelations between the leader of the administration and the policies that the state has in place to guide its relationship with other states in the international system. The book focuses on the decision making models and Kenya’s foreign policy with the central point being an empirical assessment of the Kenyatta and Moi administrations’ foreign policy output. This book analyzes the nature of Kenya’s foreign policies that were implemented during President Kenyatta’s and Moi administrations. The two administrations are examined on account of the foreign policy decision making processes that they employed to develop policies that sought to satisfy Kenya’s national interests.
