Synopsis

Traditional knowledge has only recently touched the scientific chord of western academic knowledge. Traditional knowledge finds echoes in some of the current philosophy of disaster management. I wrap up that traditional knowledge of traditional local or indigenous groups all over the world not only desires to be recognized, conserved and humdrum but also is to be incorporated into efforts to formulate effective disaster management strategies.
