The publication focuses on the issue of evaluating the development state of organizations with the application of relative measurements through a mutual comparison indicating the degree of similarity, which can be used as an element supporting the benchmarking process. The evaluation was reduced to establishing partial ordering of data in multidimensional sets by applying static models of organizations. DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) was used in the process of evaluation, therefore part of the book is devoted to explaining the essence of the method indicating non-standard practices. The research part includes the results and the evaluation process of Technology Incubators affiliated to the Centres for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, so important for the economy development. This work will be of value to those involved in quantitative, model – based analysis in the process of decision-making and assessing the organization’s activities.
