Synopsis
A large majority of population living in the proximity of industrial units is getting affected for worse in the process of industrial development by way of loss of environment, livelihoods, lifestyles, health, etc. As a responsibility towards the affected, the industries the world over are adopting corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Scientific implementation of CSR initiatives demand conduct of baseline survey of the affected of all the facets. About the Author
Prof. Reddy had his Masters in Economics and Doctorate in Rural Development. He is teaching at Masters level since 27 years. Now he Coordinator, University Grants Commission Special Assistance Program. He published three books and his 21 papers appeared in national and international journals. He lent consultancy services to FHI, Care India and SERP
