Synopsis
What is known as the Darwin Theory of Evolution is a simple principle: species evolve by means of random changes and natural selection to adapt to a specific environment. The basic idea behind Genetic Algorithms (GA) is to imitate the way in which nature works in order to design a system with desired characteristics (the environment).
