Synopsis

The learning compass serves teachers for documentation and students to reflect on what they have learned. At regular intervals, the children solve tasks that are adapted to the learning content of the student book. The diagram at the end of the booklet reflects learning achievements and shows which areas still need to be practiced. A preceded learning map gives an overview of the networking of the content. The learning compass is a good tool for both the students themselves as well as for teachers and parents for checking and reflecting on learning success. At regular intervals - about all five textbook pages - children edit the assigned pages in the learning compass. The task formats are already known from lessons. Students can get an overview of the learning material in the fourth school year on the large learning map. It also serves as orientation. The individual content areas are shown in the form of floors in the houses shown. Once the children have completed a task area, they will receive motivational stickers. These may be glued to the "done" floor. With the help of self-reflection, in the form of smiley faces, your own learning progress is questioned and conscious. Scoring the tasks on the solution pages is used for accurate analysis of learning performance. The exact breakdown of content competencies in the last pages provides a good conversation basis for learning development conversations with the children and parents. At the same time, the close-meshed performance determinations and surveys at shorter intervals allow to quickly record any learning residues and initiate suitable promotion measures. • Learning map • Sticker sheet • Solutions • Competence grid • Learning documentation Our digital offer: Scoring the tasks on the solution pages allows teachers to analyse the learning performance of children more accurately. For this purpose, there are two tables under the QR code on the U 4: In the table "Percentage evaluation", the teacher can enter the child's name and select the edited page. Then the scores achieved can be entered into the third table column and converted into percentages in the fourth table column. The teacher can then enter this percentage value in the chart "My Learning Documentation" on page 32 in the learning compass for illustration. The Score Distribution table provides an exact overview of how the points were composed in each task per page.
