In Mozambique, the body of a hotel owner is fished out of the pool, shortly afterwards his French exwife is arrested. But is she actually the killer? The deadly bored consul Aurel Timescu has his doubts. With a glass of white wine in his hand, he begins to determine. And immerses yourself in a world of corruption, complicated love relationships and dubious diplomacy.
Consul Aurel Timescu witnesses criminal machinations: shortly after his transfer to Maputo, Mozambique, an unpleasant hotel owner is found dead in his pool. Unlike the police, the consul is sure that the ex-wife of the dead is innocent in prison. But who has the hotelier on their conscience instead? In short, Aurel Timescu makes his own investigations. It doesn't take long, and he encounters the illegal machinations of contractors and poachers hunting for ivory. But his unmistakable criminalist sense and a few glasses of white wine bring him on the right track this time.
