Stefan Rinke is professor of Latin American history in the Institute of Latin American Studies at Freie Universitat Berlin as well as spokesperson for the international research training group Between Spaces: Movements, Actors, and Representations of Globalisation, a cooperative doctoral program with leading Mexican universities.
