Synopsis
Memory is a product of discernable neurobiological events. Although elusive in some respects, these events are understood well enough that a study of the diverse disciplines engaged in memory research can offer a comprehensive hypothesis as to the nature of memory. This study presents an approach to understanding the wide-ranging and complex body of material that contributes today to a plausible functional model of memory.
