Review

FROM THE REVIEWS:

JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY
"This book has definite value as an important source for researchers working in the area of nonoxide ceramics. Both volumes of the series should prove to be very comprehensive sources of information and references for those interested in systems consisting of silicon, nitrogen, carbon, and boron."

Synopsis

Written for those working in ceramics, materials science and physical chemistry, this volume contains discussion of phase equilibria in the Si-B-C-N system, the synthetic approaches, properties and applications of silicon carbide, and amorphous multinary ceramics in the Si-B-N-C system.
