About this title

About the Author

With degrees earned at University of Wisconsin-Madison and Cornell, Dr. Chow joined North Carolina State in 1997. Research stays took him to US Army and ABB. He also has served as consultant for companies such as Duke Power Company, and OTIS Elevator Co.
His research focuses on mechatronics, power distribution, motors and robotics, putting him in the position to write an integrated overview.
Dr. Chow is IEEE fellow, and serves in editorial positions for IEEE publications.
