Volume 3 is concerned with the approach to using immunological methods for the analysis of cells and tissues. In the first sections, the methods necessary for the isolation of cells from many different tissues are described, with the emphasis upon human cells. The last part of the volume considers the ways in which immune cells can be analysed by methods conventionally understood by immunologists, but not necessarily using antibodies.
