Little is known about the creator of the Rorschach test later named after him. Nothing is probably more suitable to approach the early deceased scientist and human Hermann Rorschach (1984-1922) than the largely unpublished correspondence of Rorschach with family members, specialist colleagues and publishers, which covers a period of 20 years and is present here in chronological succession. The exchange of letters provides information about Rorschach's personal and professional career, his thinking and research and his scientific work. For the first time, you gain insight into Rorschach's "mental workshop", in which his form interpretation process is expanded and developed. Up close, we follow the years of birth pangs in the publication of "psychodiagnostics" that made Rorschach world famous.
