Synopsis
The present book provides understandable explanations of the FEA in theory and practice. In the 4th In addition to the full version of the open source FEA program Z88 V14, the reader will receive the new freeware program Z88Aurora for Windows, UNIX/LINUX and MAC on the enclosed DVD. The source code of Z88 V14 allows ambitious users to customize the FEA program. Z88Aurora is not only characterized by a graphical user interface, but also other calculation methods such as stationary heat conduction, geometrically non-linear strength calculations and natural vibration calculations are also possible. Compared to the 3rd edition, the theory part was supplemented by the calculation of shell elements and the additional types of analysis stationary heat conduction, natural oscillations and geometric nonlinearity.
With the help of 32 examples, which are also included on the DVD, the reader can get to know and understand the FEA "live".
