But when her stepson proves to be incapable and almost destroys the operation, Magdalena makes a consequential decision: she takes over the sole management of the book printing shop. From now on, she has not only her stepson against her, but also the citizens of the city, because a woman as the mistress of a book printing shop violates the divine order!
