Synopsis
To the work Against the background of the current method discussion, the present book attempts a discussion structuring, carefully documented overall view of the main problems of the method of judicial law finding and legal training. It is written from the perspective of Swiss law, but also takes into account foreign literature and judicature in a strong way. The increasing internationalisation and Europeanisation of Swiss law and the methodological problems related to it is addressed in a separate section. For the new edition. The book appears in the 7th Edition in co-authorship for the first time. The author and the author hope that the entire spectrum of Swiss private law - especially with regard to areas of the ZGB - could be covered even more thoroughly than before. The conception of the book otherwise remained unchanged. Target group: In the first place, the book is aimed at students of higher semesters; but it should also be useful for lawyers working in courts, in the law or in administration, as well as for anyone interested in the basics of our legal system.
