Synopsis
Fifteen long years, Henry Sokop sat in the felony tract of Waldeck, convicted of the murder of his father he did not want to have committed. On the day of his release, he has only one goal: find and kill the killer. Nothing has remained to him, nothing he has to lose when he goes to Wismar with his probation aid, where he last lived in. While life beyond the prison walls collapses on him, the planned revenge is the only thing that gives sense to his dreary shadow existence. With sober calculation, he comes closer to the daughter of his main suspect, almost thinking himself at the target when he suddenly falls in love. Doubts about his actions are broad. And did he really find the right one? Apparent certainties and unforeseen form the stage for a crime about the pious desire for resocialisation and justice until everything culminates in the crazy showdown on the Baltic Sea.
