First launched route was in July 1986 with a daily flight and a small aircraft of just 15 seats. It was just one operation line from Waterford, from southeast of Ireland to London Gatwick. Over the years this small company has developed so strongly that it has come to operate over 240 destinations in 40 countries on a fleet of 470 aircrafts and has a team of over 17000 employees.This rise has led to the company performance to become one of the top budget airlines in Europe. The inspired management of the leaders, as well the right decisions made by the leaders and the good organisation of the bussines resulted in the overwhelming success of a small family business that became a strong company in the market.
